Clear Lake is 44 miles from our Sisters, Oregon home. It's the headwaters of McKenzie River, which is the sole source of drinking water for Eugene, Oregon, 74 miles southwest. 

On October 23, 2011, I took these pics with a tiny-sensor Panasonic DMC-ZS3 pocket zoom digicam during a walk from Clear Lake to Sahalie Falls on the McKenzie.

I've taken other photos of Clear Lake and the McKenzie River using higher quality Fujifilm cameras, which have much larger sensors.
